The Chairman of the occasion,
The Chairperson,
The Guest Lecturer,
All other protocols duely observed.
Glory be to Allah who has given us the opportunity to witness the day. May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBOH) who is the last seal of all prophets. I therefore seek for more blessings from Allah on every one of us amen.

Brief On the School:
The school was founded by Hamadiya Movement in Islam on 18th February 1963. The name of the school changed to Anwar-Ul-Islam Grammar School to reflect the name of the Missioni.e. (Founder). It has turned out notable men and women in the society, eminent scholars and distinguished politicians at local, state and federal level. The school was disarticulated in May 2006 thereby metamorphosed into Junior School I & II and the Senior School each with his own administrative and academic head.
The Senior School administration fell on me in January 2007. Since then I have received the cooperation of the staff members, parents and particular the old Students Association. I thank them for their support and advice.
The three schools under the umbrella of Anwar-Ul-Islam Grammar School held their annual Inter-House Sports together on February 22, 2007. Mentioned must be made for the role played Professor Gbolagade Wasiu who donated cash and gift to the school. We also recognized the efforts of the National Chairman of the Old Students Association in seeing that the school is a force to be reckoned with in sports, academics and moral standard. I seize this opportunity to congratulate and rejoice with all the students of this school on the appointment of an Old Students as Commissioner for Education in Osun State (Hon. Jelili Adesiyan – JALO) and the election of Senator Kamordeen Adedibu to the upper chamber of the House. Warafanau Makana Alliyah.

Academic:
The school participated in many outside competition such as Essay Competition, Mathematics and Science Quiz Competition. Our students performed brilliantly well. The school has a very good Literary and Debating Society that hold meetings regularly. The efforts of Mr. N. A. Fasasi and other staff members is highly appreciated in this regard.
Efforts by the principal and staff to see that the students shun EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES is yielding a fruitful result. Students and parents are aware that certificates obtained through examination malpractices loses credibility and holders of such certificates have no self – confidence and the integrity is lost.

PTA:
The efforts of the PTA in raising the standard of education in the school should not go unnoticed. Notable areas of intervention by the PTA include:
1. Restoration of electricity in the school on April 10, 2007.
2. Repair of the school hall roofs.
3. Repair of students desks and chairs.
4. Sponsoring of the Principal, Staff and Executive members of PTA on Seminar /Workshop.
5. Sponsoring the collection of Free Text Books and Stationeries donated to the school by our amiable Governor of Osun State Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

Old Students Association:
The Old Students have been an immense assets to the school. They have come to aid the school in its efforts to reach a high pedestal in academic and sports. They have promised to renovate the school buildings and restore the street lightings of the compound. May the Almighty Allah continue bless them Amin.

Graduating Students:
I admonish you all to be good ambassadors of Islam and of this great citadel of learning. Remember Anwar-Ul-Islam “ONLY THE BEST”. On behalf of the students, parents and staff, we thank you for your kind gesture to renovate the school mosque. May you continue to be blessed. It is gratifying to see that this occasion contains not only the students and the teachers but also their parents and guardians. We should not consider their present academic capacity as a yardstick of success. Their focuses rather need to be redirected. To all of you Graduands try to improve on your performances and proceed to higher institutions. I wish you brilliant success in all your endeavors.
In conclusion, I want to thank all members of staff for your support, cooperation and dedication, which make the process of giving qualitative education to these students a reality. I pray that success will continue to be ours amen. Once more, I welcome all our invited guests, parents, guest speaker and students and urge you to listen and have a nice time with us.
Thank you and God bless.

Yours faithfully,
ALHAJI ADESINA ADENIYI
